Well I know it's late in the day, but in honor of Pearl Harbor Day, I thought I would share a couple of my AC WWII magazine advertisements. I have about five of these two page ads that were originally printed in "The Pointer" an internal magazine for West Point Cadets. The first one was is from the November 3rd, 1945 issue; just a couple of months after the Japanese surrender:
This one is from the April 23, 1943 issue:
Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. I salute Allis Chalmer's support of total victory!

Remember Pearl Harbor. Those that serve are our heroes remember them all with honor. Thanks for posting. |

Think for yourself and be your own expert. Be willing to change your mind; however, willingness to change your mind doesn’t mean that you will. Blindly following any path is the pinnacle of insanity.

Another major reason we won the WWII was the mechanized agricultural of our country. We were way ahead of the world in that area, and it kept the troops well fed as well as all the war industry workers.

Neat ads. I love the "Farm Commando" ads. I remember putting the Farm Commando decals on the tractors we reconditioned with pride.
Good Luck!

Ask the young ones what December 7th means and they look at you and wonder what your talking about.
Its really sad to know that countries like japan would try to take control of the Pacific just for their own egotistical reasons and fight dirty like they did.
I still have Dad's old WC that had the Stickers from the war era "FARM COMMANDO ready to roll " on the frame rails. Well they use to be but faded away many years ago.
A Salute to all the vets that fought for our country.
