First I am getting a service manual for Christmas. But until then I have a couple of questions. Right behind the oil filter towards the back of the tractor there is a dipstick, what is it for, what kind of oil.   Then on the other side of the tractor right behind the instrument pannel on the top is a bolt/dipstick, what is it for and what kind of oil. I understand they may be either hydraulic or gear boxes. Thanks in advance for any advise.

From front to back..
right side, behind oil filter is the Hydraulic pump and belt pulley oil filler
Left side, under steering column is the Power Director clutch filler
Left side, across from shifter is the Transmission filler

If you drain all the fluids( I use a 5 gallon bucket), you can then refill them all with a 'Universal Tractor Hydraulic Oil'. Sure makes it easy ! Engine oil for the engine...though !
