Has anyone on here replaced a d19 gas motor with a gleaner f2 motor? Having trouble with the starter. Not sure if I need to swap ringgears, starters or if it's even possible. Had to use the gas flywheel that is set for a 9 tooth small drive and the f2 is set for a 10 tooth 40mm drive. Let's just say the ten engages but locks her up tight. I am finding this was a bad idea but am stuck finishing it.

I would bet (Steve In NJ) on here can fix you up with the right drive.                  MACK

Going to pull the motor again and see if I can swap the ring gears. Hope I works. Went to a couple starter shops and no luck. Tried to look up Steve in NJ but no luck. Thanks mack
