Hi all. What are your thoughts on the reliability of a 180 transmission and rear end for a 7000lb mod farm class? Estimated hp will be 300 to 400hp. 18.4 x 38. Thanks!

Transmission strength will not be any problem. People grinding them into gear wears off the shifting dogs, so they need to be in good shape or it might jump out of gear under heavy load.

Thanks Dr! Was a bit concerned about the two pinion rear end, but it should be ok.

Overfill the transmission a couple three gallons of oil to flood the differential gears. When you get 24.5 tires and more than 500 HP you'll need to needle the diff pin gears.
