Take it from me, time invested in that little helper will pay off big time in the future.
Good Luck to you both. By the way look at that "wrenching" smile: priceless.

he loves helping me in the shop. I heard enough about older menbers in the culb that their kids aren't interest in Allis or tractors period. If I can keep my kids in to it ( Mind youI didn't know Allis exinsteaded an till my mom took mine brother and I to an farm toy show near home when i was 12 years old. the first Allis toy I bought was an D21 series 2 and the rest is history) I think the earlier we can get young people to recognize the greatness of Allis Chalmers ( and not john deere) the better we will be.thxchuck

My 5 year old grandson loves to help Papa.
Last fall I was diggin holes to plant blueberry plants, I'd turn around and have to help him out of a hole he'd sat down in and managed to wedge himself in. I'm pretty sure he tried all 25 holes on for size.
Next morning he wanted to know if I was going to make blueberry pancakes
Last spring I was doing a little field repair on my lawn mower. I had to run back to the shop to get a tool and when I got back he had managed to drive all the pins I'd pulled out into the ground with a hammer. Of course my wife had been watching and was laughing her butt off. Edited by Larry in OK - 06 Dec 2010 at 12:16am |

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for much of anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
