Allis Chalmers HB112 Throttle

   My grandson got this mower gave to him and I have been helping him with it. Any one know how to adjust the throttle. I bought a new carb abd throttle links rod for it. The rod is to short to hook in to the carb. Not quite sure how to adjust it. any help is appreciated.
