   Has anyone tried drilling the lift arm housing and installing the upper 3 point bracket?

	I have not, but I'll tell you what I think. First, the non-drilled housing is shaped differently and to attach a factory 3-point top link bracket, you'll ( I think) only get the two lower holes. The upper two holes align with a part of the housing that isn't flat. I also think the housing is probably thinner than the factory drilled housing. So, that being said, if I wanted a top link, I would make one from mild steel (1/2" thick material) and extend the vertical plate up high enough meet the height of the seat frame. Then, extend a 3/8" thick plate forward to attach to the three seat frame bolts under the seat frame and set the seat back down using longer Grade 8 bolts/washers. I'd also consider doing a similar shorter plate at the height of the very top of the lift arm housing and drilling it with two 1/2" bolts and possible locknuts on the inside of the housing. This would require removal of the housing. This way, you'd have two 5/8" down low and five 1/2" bolts securing the top section. After all that work, why not just fine a salvage housing from a 190/190XT that is already drilled ??

Previous owner apparently was attempting a 3pt conversion, but didn't finish. Was informed that it was off of a 190. Has 4 threaded holes at the top for link. I'd let it go cheap, but shipping would probably make up for it.

	Thanks everyone for the replies. My 19 must have a later housing because it has two flat machined areas where a top link should sit but no holes. Doing a search for OE parts, Allis shows the bolts to hold the top link bracket as 5/8 x 2" fine thread. Sound right? It appears the casting is thick enough to be drilled (at least from the outside). Gary (OR) Are the holes drilled all the way through the housing or did they drill blind holes? What do you want for the housing and could you look at shipping to southern Illinois 62080? Thanks again
