Wednesday 2nd the county in which I reside, San Luis Obispo, CA had the dubious distinction and honor of having the highest fuel prices in the nation, so I am told. So tell me, why am I still here?

I sure miss the Trump oil policies. The present policies and world events are going to make farming cost prohibitive. FJB and Putin.

Nutt'n under $5 here, more for diesel. My wife's family comes from Chapel Hill Tennessee, I am told it is quite nice there but never been. My dad's family comes from Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, never been there either. I guess I just don't know where to go (anywhere but here) Idaho is plugged up with Californians, Nevada is plugged with Californians, Arizona is plugged up with Californians, Oregon is such a beautiful state but full of sixties hippie Californians and is probably worse than California, Eastern Washington where the real wheat growers are, could be a possibility but the Western part is full of smug, Montana is plugged up with rich ding dong liberals, The wife lived in Texas for a time does not want to go back, at least to the Eastern Seaboard part, West of San Antonio I thought was alright, but filling up with Californians. The common denominator is the fact that Californians are fxxxing up every place they go, so I figure that if I sit tight and everyone else moves away except me and Ray54, we will have the state to ourselves.

$5.05 and $5.11 diesel last night in Florida and Georgia - ouch! Some smaller stations around $4.45 mark still but for most part diesel is about a buck higher than gas and everything is about 80 cents higher than a couple weeks ago.

Am curious.......is the crude that was to be carried by Keystone Pipeline still being transported by train.......and is being refined? Or is it shut down completely? Thinking demand would be the same today as it was on Nov 3rd, 2020, when gas at the pump here was $1.75 a gallon. For gas price to be where it is today (what was $1.75 is now $3.40 last time I checked), supply had to dry up. Where did it all go?

The crude that was being trained, and pipelined, by a curcumquensious(a round about way) route, would still be using that route(s). What Keystone would have done is dramatically decrease the cost of moving the crude. With lower cost to move it, the producers can keep drilling if prices drop, and still be profitable. American refineries would have been able to utilize the heavy crude from Canada, to blend into refining, be less dependent on overseas supply.

Just figuring someone needs to be Interested in Pelosi, Her Hubby, Schumer and others of the Demonrat Regime as to MASS Income Adds since the import oil prices skyrocketed. As That would be from INSIDER Trading and all should end up in JAIL Cells.

Well, If the doomed Donner party of the 1800's were to be crossing the Sierras today they would still have to eat one another to save enough money to buy gas in Truckee, CA. over $6 and a half more for diesel.
