Just curious about using a air fuel ratio gauge for tuning a pulling tractor. Do many people you them or just tune using a dyno? Also are you looking for 14.7:1 or a little richer or leaner?

I run EGT gauges on my pullers to keep the A/F in the ball park. It's work for me for close to 30 years.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

What temps are you looking for? I assume cooler temps = richer

You are correct; cooler exhaust is richer, hotter is leaner. I only run E85 is my pullers with spark plugs which tends to run a bit cooler than gasolines. With that I try to be in the 700-800 range. For racing gasoline, I'd think around 900-1000.
