I was just reading about Iowa not issuing a regular drivers license but instead sending it to your phone. It would be on there instead of in your wallet. You can opt out of that if you want a plain old drivers lisc. Dang, I seldom forget my billfold but am continually leaving that dang phone at home. Hoping they don't make it a permanent thing.

Seeings how TracFone has quit supplying service for web browsing and image sending/receiving in the texts for 3G, the state better mandate the providers with service again or... there will be lot of unhappy people out there.

My state uses vote by mail and it works great. Been in place for many years. I highly recommend it.

I don't run the system. I just use it.
I don't request the ballot. I can only presume ballots go out to registered voters.

I'll go along with vote by mail but only if you request a ballot. Too many ways to cheat the system, doing mail in voting, any other way!

Digital drivers license, Digital proof of Insurance, might just as well add registration, hand your phone to a police officer to take back to his car and scan it all in. No I can never see that going bad even if everything is legal. He better be better at using my smart phone then I am.

Then there is that note above as to "Real ID" to board flights or trains, what about heavy trucks, just anyone that has a Cellphone get a Real ID for those on their phone? In no way could that end up FRAUD Stolen!!! OH OH I get it, next up is ARM Tats and Implanted Chips so we can ALL have Real ID, anyone remember the Holocaust or the startling Sci-Fi movies of Implanted IDs for 'Collections'.

This is clever way of gaining access to your phone. There was a big stink raised a few years ago when Apple wouldn't give an access code to authorities to gain access to someones phone and I believe that held up in court. I'm not into conspiracy whatever but if your legal info is on the phone, you have to open it to gain access, and then all the other info is there also. In the city of Manhattan, KS, you are not allowed to even access your phone while behind the wheel. Lets say you get pulled over and after looking at your credentials the cop says, oh, you accessed your GPS screen 7 minutes ago at 14mph. Now, if you don't have a cell phone, it will be like most utilities, you will be charged $$$$ per month for hard copies.

If there was solid evidence it would have been a crime and prosecuted. Mail-in ballots have to be returned in a specific envelope provided by the elections office and the envelope has to be signed by the voter. Signatures are compared to the signature on the voter registration card. Just having a bunch of photocopied ballots does no good.
I'm sure there are more checks and balances in the system. Many states use this voting method safely. The 2020 election was fair and no widespread fraud was ever proven, even after some 60 court cases, but let's not revisit all that again.

Ahhh! You can have all that digital monkey business. I still have my flip phone. Works for me (when we have cell service). The more Apps and crap you have out there in them flat phones, the more you're putting yourself out to get scammed. Acct numbers, bank numbers, fakebook, auto deposits, now driver's license numbers. Trac Phone dropped ( or is dropping ) 3G as all other carriers are.
I had to upgrade phone and while searching I came up with QVC shopping network having a 4G Samsung phone and 1000 minutes of talk , text , digital service for $80.00 , and since I already used Trac Phone as carrier I bought it , then found out since my old plan had double the minutes when buying time I got that doubled also on new phone .
Then minutes carried over on account so more talk time added from old balance .
The full 3G network will be shut down soon and many other devices other than phones will also stop working - so if you fall and can't get up and push your button to summon help - YOU WON'T HAVE A CARRIER
