There's a breakfast topic on another site that made me wonder. This guy says he never misses a breakfast(until the other morning), I got to wondering when the last time that I've HAD breakfast LOLLOL !! Now that I think about it, I don't eat lunch either, I can get off work earlier and not moan/groan like the co workers about not being able to lean over after their lunch Ouch.
In a nutshell, do you guys do a hearty breakfast ??

Each individual eats at there own choosing once they are an adult or not in the Military. I have worked with people that survived all day on coffee and cigarettes. I also worked with a man who drank his lunch and probably his dinner too. On Monday he usually was a no show from the weekend. Some Diabetics eat many times a day to keep their blood sugar from spiking. As for me I eat breakfast. Sometimes oatmeal or eggs. I am a type 2 diabetic so I have to watch my carbs.

Eat a lite breakfast, usually just a bowl of oatmeal, or a couple pieces of toast on the days I am going to work. Just not that hungry at 5am. If staying home, will have breakfast later in the morning, then it’s eggs, & bacon or sausage. Have a lite lunch, usually a salad w/sandwich, or single slice of pizza. Best way to beat the Texas heat, is eat lite during the day, especially those of us that spend a lot of time outside.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I have 2 homemade sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits every day through the week so that I can take my prescriptions. If I don't, I'll be spending a lot of the day on the Thunder Bucket. On Saturday mornings, my wife makes scrambled eggs with bacon bits and biscuits and gravy. Sunday's I usually don't have breakfast, just snack through the day.

Lars, years ago my favorite "hot" cereal was Cream Of Wheat, for some reason (to this day) I can't keep it "down" Disapprove. Oatmeal just can't have enough brown sugar dumped on it for me Embarrassed, JMO though. Grits are something that I've had after Saturday morning milking on the neighbors dairy farm, his wife made them from scratch and were awesome !!

I use ‘quick oats’ and the packets of flavored oatmeal, one packet and approximately an equal amount of oatmeal mixed together.

Two eggs over medium.  fried potatoes, American fries, or whatever they're called in your neck of the woods.  A couple slices of ham.  Two slices of toast with strawberry jam.  Put the eggs on top of the tators and slice them all up and mixed together.

Decaf coffee.  Can't have caffeine anymore.

My "theory" is that most people that grew up on dairy farms, eat a pretty hearty breakfast. When I was growing up, I had been working for over 2 hours by breakfast time and I was hungry.
Being a creature of habit, I still eat breakfast, but a lot less than I used to eat.
Several of my friends from when I was growing up got up just in time to go to school. I bet many of them still don't eat breakfast.

Either two eggs and two bacon strips or a bowl of cereal. Some times a pancake or waffle I have a cup of coffee most mornings.

I have no idea what youre calling a dickweed reply, it is totally uncalled for and there was absolutley nothing in that post to warrant your disgusting outburst.

Got to have my coffee in the morning no matter what time I get up, then it can be a cup of yogurt and Belvita breakfast crackers or sausage, eggs, grits and toast depending on what I have going on that day. I don't eat nearly as much as I did in my younger days.

Freebie is a effing moron. John's post did not deserve the comment about being a "dickweed reply".  Wednesday night and trashed out drunk again.

Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, supper like a pauper... I don't always follow that, but the saying goes with what someone said earlier about bkfst being the most important meal of the day.   Stay healthy guys & gals.

I usually have 2-3 eggs and some toast.  Once in a while, a few hash browns.  This morning it was a bowl of fruit and english muffin.  I really like a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bun!

And that ladies and gentlemen is why I don't usually read his posts....
Starts out with a good question and then puts his foot in his mouth again.  VERY disrespectful.

I too rarely eat breakfast or dinner any more.  We always had milking and then getting machinery ready for the day before we went in to eat breakfast.  And it was a HUGE meal.  I don't work that hard anymore to warrant a breakfast.
BUT, by supper time, I'm hungry!!

When I was in college I worked on a dairy farm and we had a huge breakfast every morning before I went to class now it is either a couple of slices of toast or a bagel with cream cheese or an English muffin.  Every now and then my wife makes a potato casserole with garlic onions potatoes and bacon.  Then top it with shredded cheese and some BBQ sauce.  Very good but not very good for you.
