    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 at 3:44pm
I currently wear a pair of Muck "Arctics" that have blown the bottom end (soul??) and is leaking water. Besides the recent "leaking", these boots are sooo  hot that I can literally dump foot sweat out of them CryCry . Is there a "temperature" scale of these boots ?? I've seen arctics, chore, hunters.... Just curious before I spend big $$ on a "now" mediocre product Confused .

I own the chore model. I hate them. They are way too tight on my feet. After wearing them for any amount of time my feet are killing me

But they are not very warm. My feet don't sweat that bad in them

Got to wonder how they can charge so much for something made in China for pennies on the dollar?

Bass pro has some for $129 a pair. I don’t think that’s high for a pair of boots like that. I bought a pair made by under armor that was comparable on price and I have been happy with them.

This is just me but I'll pay more for US or Canadian made footwear than I will Chinese or some such place given how little those people get paid. Course not much is made here anymore.

When I worked at a dairy I wore Dryshod chore boots daily in the cold and heat and they were great. I liked them better than Muck boots.

Milking Cows we wore LaCrosse over shoe boots year around. Now I have 2 pair of Muck boots that I rotate between the boot dryer as my feet sweat. When it gets Cold like now then I have a pair of Canadian Kamik Goliath pac boots that I wear to keep my feet warm. I like the Muck boots just not the price!

Muck Boots are the first boots I ever had that keep my feet warm. and I've only bought them for the last 15-20 years. If my feet sweat I roll the tops down, I wear them all summer with the tops rolled way down. The grandkids say I look silly and I tell them I am not making a fashion statement I am being sensible and they should too!...Harvey
