Restoring a WD.Previous owner lost 3 of the wheel eccentric locks on the adjustable rims. Trying to find some but can’t.Any body know any sources? Also rewiring it, am I better off buying a complete harness or doing it wire by wire. It’s a 6 volt system.

Define "better off". You can probably do it cheaper yourself, but not much if your time has any value. If you just want it to work right, the first time, and last another lifetime, buy it from Steve

I would call sandy lake implement for the locks. They seem to have a good supply of used parts

Huolti, Welcome and we need some restoration pictures too! The wheel parts are available used from a lot of folks. I may even have some spares around here too? On the wiring, Steve has helped me sort out wiring on these tractors several years ago. With his help and others, and trial and error, I build my own wire custom harness. But I am also changing all of mine to 12 volt and alternators too. If your going stock or custom Steve will help you with a harness. Regards,

Where in Alberta are you? I'm just out of Tofield and have lots of extra eccentric locks etc for WD tractors.

There are after market suppliers who offer many A-C parts. Try DJS Tractor Parts or Steiner Tractor Parts. Steve at B & B Custom Circuits is also great. Welcome to the A-C brother / sister hood. Also google Old Allis News and consider subscribing. Lots of good information in that magazine.

It depends on how handy you are with wire, a stripper, a crimper and lugs. Also if you want it to look original or not. If you want to do it yourself, you need to invest in a good stripper and crimper. It also takes some practice getting the correct amount if insulation stripped off and the wire crimped on correctly. There are also a couple different size wire so you need to find someplace that sells by foot so you don't need to buy an entire spool of wire. You're probably looking at 75 to 100 dollars, US, for the two tools, for good quality.
Other than that, it's a piece of cake!
