Any suggestions on a material to use for the thin gasket between the pump body and cover? This is the one that sets the rotor end play at .001 to .003.
Was a vellum like material that came out in pieces.

Proper gasket from AGCO. Call Brenda at sandy lake. Those gaskets will come with a pump overhaul kit.
