Folks,
We have the pleasure of watching, or attempting to corral the two Great Grandsons, Rhett (5) and Cooper (2). Just some shots of them in action. Rhett loved the job of oiling the David Bradley with the "tinka / tinka" oil can. He oiled things that didint need oiled for sure. This machine is supposed to go to him, if he wants it, someday. Its Cheryl's Great grandfathers cultivator from the mid to late 40's. How come that doesn't sound that long ago when you were born in the early 50's!:) So it would be Rhetts GGGG grandfathers. Yikes. Wouldnt start, rope pull gets old after awhile. We changed out the gas , cleaned the plug, and she fired right up. The N series engine has not been apart yet. Still has those original knobby tires! Also the local Allis collection gets rode hard and put away wet too! Cooper does NOT like to get his picture taken so this was a rare moment. Yea going to have to start removing keys too. Took them for a ride in the trailer down the road and back up the yard. They loved it! Cooper informed me that this (Wz) was his tractor now! Hummmpffft! I showed him where the throttle was. That was a mistake!:) He drove the Cub Cadet over to the garage with me walking along side. Very serious young man about his 'Crackors' as he calls them! We may be getting to old for this type of stuff!:) Regards, Chris Edited by Sugarmaker - 08 May 2020 at 5:06pm |

My grand daughter(5) won't have anything to do with the tractors. She's scared of them because they're so loud. It looks like you had a great day, and probably like me, gotta put all the toys away after they go home! You sure have a nice collection of toys for them to play with. How wide of a cut do you get with that triple mower.

John, Floyd, Folks,
Yea its a good excuse to get the tractors started and move them a little. The Cub Cadet has a 42 inch deck and the tag mowers are 20 inch each, so around 6 feet of mowing per pass. It does work very well for around/ under trees, and in the the road ditch too! Regards, Chris

That's awesome Chris! I have similar plans for my little boy Jay. He's just 20 months, but he's definitely a smart little s**t. We're going to encourage 4H and or FFA when he gets big enough. My CA was my first tractor so when he's old and responsible enough it will be his first tractor if he wants it.

No! I like snow but we need a break. Please leave the machine home!:) Cooper on Uncle Jacks WD. He can climb on this by himself. Scary! He likes the Jubilee also. Has a problem with tool boxes. Has to check them all out. The Jubilee has the tool box in the left foot step. Him and his brother working on the dog. Rain this afternoon brought us back in the house. Regards, Chris

Precious, precious, kids. Them round knobby tires reminded me of a set of them on one of my older brother`s car back in the early 50`s.

And what we have found out is that they have no "off" switch! :) Regards, Chris
