The audio quit.  I am going to start beating on it later today.  This is DirecTV.  The other room  TV's have volume and work fine.  I did reboot the receiver.

Aside from the usual stuff like wiggling connections changing inputs, changing the HDMI cable etc.

Any other things/tricks to try.

Was kinda wondering what I would blow some of the money on that we are spose to get from the Pres.  Confused

Are the speakers part of the TV, cable to speakers, or Blu Tooth to speakers. Cable or Blu Tooth could be the problem, or not correctly specified in the Setup.  ???

thanks for the reply chas.  speakers are the ones in the TV.

Anyhoo, I rebooted the receiver and no joy.

Next unplugged the TV to clear its mind.

Surprised the hey out of me but it cranked back up and is working at this moment.  Confused

Could be in the TV itself.... IF you have a smaller TV, move it into the area and switch the OLD BOX and OLD cable to the SMALL TV to verify that everything is OK, and the TV is bad.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Sounds like something heating up in the sound circuit. TV's ain't cheap and neither is the repair shop. I hate when this happens, I feel for ya. I don't know if I could eat my dinner without Vanna White on. Wink
