I unplugged all 3 tonight on my WF. Got sludge out of each. Can I rinse them out with Purple Power? If not, what should I use? Thanks in advance.

or diesel fuel... some will say that ANYTHING you add other than oil will be more "contamination"........ but the main goal is to dissolve what is in there, or get it in suspension so it will flush out..
Add the kero or diesel and run around a little to mix things up, then drain.. Might not hurt to add a couple quarts of oil to the diesel if your putting much load on the internal bearings.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

The final drives on a WC or WF originally call for 400 weight gear oil. I use corn head grease in mine.

I'd think a 'thin' oil or diesel would be OK, say 1/2 to 3/4 'full' then drive around for say 1-2 hrs...to get it all warm and sloshed about. Then park, drain and walk away for at LEAST a day. The longer you let it drain, the more WILL come out. When I drained a JD TT hydro unit, I did a test, let it sit 2 days AFTER it was 'drained', I got almost another cup of oil out ! That seemed like a LOT for such a small unit. If you have plenty of time, repeat the whole proceedure.

Thanks! Guess I should have mentioned that I'm restoring this tractor- it's in pieces- I can't drive it to slosh the fluid around and dissolve more of the crud.

If you use purple power be sure to rinse and dry it real good. Diesel or kerosene works much better.

I need more than 200 characters for my "signature." I'd love to see that changed to 250!
