I'm trying to find the 3 point arm lift capacity of the D17. I am looking at no till drills that weigh around 2500lbs. Any help would be appreciated.

Couldn't find any info on tractordata.com. That seems like a lot to me for a D-17. If you post this in the Farm equipment forum you will get a lot more views and replies.

It will have to be a series 4 for sure. Any add-on 3 pt hitch won't have the lifting power of a properly functioning S4.  If it will pick up 2500 lbs, you will need a lot of front end weights and a wide front axle will help too.

I made the 3-point kit for my Series 1, and up close to the tractor, it'll certainly lift 2500, but in order to prevent it from kicking out the limiting valve at any reach, I have to idle it down... and be gentle with the controls, and it installs several inches of air between the front tires and the ground.  Probably not functionally practical in the field to run an implement weighing over 1500lbs or so.

You probably won't find any 'three point' ratings for D17's prior to S4, because it wasn't a factory unit.  The factory hitching system probably didn't include a lift rating, because the implement's weight was only a small part of the formula... the load-center distance and reaction loads were equally as critical to effective and safe operation.
Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
