I have never had a smart phone so do not get confused with all the options... on the bright side I do have an I-pod but I have to have wifi to make it work if I want to do anything on the interweb... the advantage is I pay the smaller  price for flip phone and do not have to pay for I-pod reception....but... if no wifi I am limited on what I do

when i have something i need to figure out, i do an internet search on my phone model and the issue i'm looking for.   There is usually an answer to be found there (sometimes youtube) and it's easier than hunting through the online help.  Not to mention if i do it on the laptop, it doesn't tie up my phone, so i can fix what the laptop results show without having to close it out.

Find the "Play Store" App.  It will let you download any apps for anything you want to do.  Gas Buddy is one I find handy, but there are tons out there to help you make life easier.  I spent my life working on computers and I still have problems finding stuff on my phone.  Where ever you go try to find free wifi otherwise you will be using up all of your Data allotment.  Good luck!

Jenn has a phone that will preheat the oven or start the washing machine or dryer. It will even take out the trash. Here’s how it works. She can be leaving work. She tells her phone call Thad. I answer and say hello and she says take out the trash and set the oven to 450. Make sure it’s 450 cause last time you set it on 425 and it needed to be 450 and don’t forget to put your dirty cloths in the washer and don’t make a mess.😁

My old personal flip phone is about 14 years old. That's all I need. To much technology with this new stuff. At work, they took my old company flip phone away and gave me one of those new "flat things". I said to the big boss, what am I supposed to do with this"? I don't want that thing, give it to one of the young guys". He said that's a nice phone! I told him I only have one more year ta' go and I'm retiring. Just let me keep the old flip phone for another year. He says: Can't the company wants you to use these new phones. I said where's the instruction booklet? He says, there isn't any booklet. Everybody knows how to use them! I said: Yeah? Not everybody! I threw it in my desk drawer. Now they're pissed cause I don't use it.....  LOL!  PSSST!

Had flip phone for YEARS until wife had to have iPhone, we got her one and I got one of the Armored Flip Phones, lasted until went to upgrade that flip phone due to ATT changing systems where was no longer going to be supported so I went with a iPhone. They are OK, just don't use enough of it to really warrant having it.
