L2 Straw Chopper Imbalance

   So I can't get the salvage yard chopper on my old L2 balanced.  Finally take apart to find the rotor tube has holes on both ends and of course is 1/2 full of dust.  What's up with that ?  Anyone know if these holes were supposed to be welded shut at the factory or plugged ?
Since this one shook apart the rest of the chopper, anyone have an old chopper for sale ?
