   I gotta story I think you would appreciate

Me oldest son has a contracting business, primarily commercial landscaping and excavating. Youngest son has some investment in the business and works with oldest son on an as needed basis, mostly keeping the equipment running, but occasionally on site too. He also has full time employment elseware.

Anyhow, the two of them was returning home after relocating an excavator to a new job site. they had left the bucket tooth bar laying on the trailer bed, and neglected to tie it down. Cops pull him over to discuss the 'unsecured load'.
oldest son is driving.

As the officer is standing by the drivers window explaining that he had noted the unsecured load, youngest son sticks his head out the side window, looking back, and quickly pulls his head back, spins around looking towards older son and cop and blurts out, 'holly crap, the machine is gone'!

From the way it was explained to me, oldest son had murder written on his face, and cops eyes got as big as dinner plates....for several seconds, then the light bulb went off and he started laughing

	Some officers have a sense of humor and appreciate a good joke. Bet your oldest did want to kill the youngest until the officer stated laughing. Sounds like something ole Shameless would have done.

	I like it... similar but different - - I was pulling my sailboat back from the lake and other family had the ski boat behind us after turning a corner i look back and 'no' ski boat following so I stop and ask them where is the boat... the look on my brothers face was priceless. the boat had come loose boout a mile back, luckily not too much damage- soft dirt in the ditch it chose to slide into.

	LMAO....yep Lou...some cops "bite" and some don't! some need a little loosening up, that was a great way to do it! most all our local cops have quit here and went to bigger departments. now I gotta retrain a whole new bunch of them including a chick cop.

	Well,,I'll tell youse Guys,,,,,with the present climate of disrespect for anything law enforcement,,,I have the greatest respect for law enforcement cause this generation of police has got to have the biggest set of cohones to want to put up with the attitudes of the haters that the former prez trained. HMMmmmm,,,wonderin what them "chick Cops" call theirs? I'd have to be very, very hungry and really bucks down to even consider such a profession. I get so dang emotional when I read bout another cop gettin shot or worse,,killed. I pray for all of them all the time.

	Living in SW WY years ago, had a buddy that was a silver tongued devil when it came to the ladies. He ran into a gal that had repeatedly blown him off previously, one night while we were hittin the bars. Chatted with her for a minute and in his loudest voice yelled "what, your a hooker?"and the crowded place went silent. The laughs started as she stormed out and he was pretty proud of himself. Not for long as he could not drive anywhere without getting hassled in that town, especially whenever we left a bar and everyone refused to ride with him as we knew he would get "rousted". Turns out the gal he pranked was dating a cop . . . . .

	Tim, I used to do about the same thing, but I'd go; "WHAT, $20 for one hour??!!" I never did it to a cop or a cops girl though,,,,,, Tie a small rope on the back bumper,,,,,,when the cop asks what the heck are you draggin a rope for, you gasp, startled and blurt out "what happened to my dog?". That one ain't so funny anymore though, a GAL I know actually did that. She did a jail term.
