OK,,I need some assistance with posting some pics,,,Chit,,I've done it a tousand times but don't want to work for me today. I transfered pics to MY COMPUTOR from my Email to my "downloads" . Resized them, changed to JPEG, went thru all the motions but no dice,,than tried to send to desktop and retried but still no go.. What happens is the post shows up with a big square and an blue and white icon shows up in upper left side of the square. Tried left and right clicking on icon but nothing,,,, any help,,???

Are ya using the "green tree" icon? Ya gotta use the 'post reply' not the quick reply..
There's 2 different tree icons, I use the one to the right

Hey Michael,,,there is only one "tree" icon on mine but still did not work,,can you see the square with the small icon in upper left,,?

Ok...I jus looked at my desktop, only 1 tree thing there..my phone has 2 trees,1 without an arrow, one with an arrow,, when I post pics from this phone I can't seem to get them small enough...
Have ya got too many pictures? Might hafta delete some old, or not important ones..

click on "post reply"........ then the "tree".... then " browse" and find the picture on your computer .... click on it and download to the site... it should be about 800 x 600 size and have a name with no dashes, etc... shrink the photo in paint brush or change the name without dashes if needed prior to download. ............. once it downloads, it will show on the right side of the POST box, and then you click to put it in your post.

uploads/598/001_640x480.jpgheres an OLD one... 2012 if the date on the pic is right
on this one I used the 'File upload' its to the left of the tree.. now I used the tree...

19 test,,,,  nope not workin yet,,,wth,,,?? Hey Steve,,I done it just like you sa,,,chit I been doing it like that for many times,,thet square is almost like you get when a pic has been posted for a LONG time and deleted by the server,,,????

I wish I could help, but ain't got the knowledge, evidently. I used to use Picasa to sort and save pics, then upload them to Picasa to store. Then Google decided to stop supporting Picasa and moved everything to Google Pictures. Now I can't copy an image there and paste it here like I could with Picasa. Might be able to, If I could remember what brackets to use to put an image url in so it shows up here.

Joe, your right.......... when you load a photo onto this site, it keeps a copy in your "file"... what I have noticed is you get the little black square when you delete one of your "saved photos"... for some reason it is not saving that downloaded photo to your copy... Go back to your list of " saved photos" and see if you can find the name on the list. Also look at the physical size of the photo ( kb).

CTucker I use the Brackets with IMG in them... [IMG] with the URL in the middle followed by another bracket [/IMG ] without the space between the G and the ]. So if I put this link in, https://i.pinimg.com/736x/89/25/75/892575e0a98bdfaba1aadc042cacd527.jpg With the .jpg, JPG, gif at the end, it should appear like this ... Dang, another LO crawler converted back to gas, or has an LO radiator on it. Well I hope that helps at posting some pictures.

That's what I used to use, just been so long since I used it, my CRS took over. Now I can't make it work from my google images :( Tried every thing I could think of to get this to show up here. https://photos.app.goo.gl/epU4DMgYsjw6gnoeA I can't even make a live link with this. Now I'm like WTH!

Well,,,Good Buddy,,,while I might tend to be somewhat "frugal" on most other ,,,,stuff,,,,i like my computors to be as fast as I can stand it and this one is,,,,,It's ,,,,,, well,,lets just say it is a barn burner,,,,. The processor runs at 3.40 Ghz with 8.00 Gb Ram and a 1 terabite hard drive. It has the latest version of Win10,,,,and it was not cheap,,, I cannot figure out why the OS will not go ahead and post the dang pics, Think I will start from scratch or,,,or,,,call Ole Les as I think he posted some for ole Thad before,,see what he done different,,,

tried many things to get your pic to post on here, but thet
bee~as~itchen google has some security parameters written into that URl
and is not compatible to this site... I did click on your link and got
to your picture, and I even pasted your link into a new tab and it
brought up the pic, then I went to full editor and put the location of
the first picture that comes up and nothing... I clicked on your pic
again and it opened in a new box and copied that link and pasted into
the picture url line with just one https:// and then the pic showed up
in preview but the sums of a bee~itches won't let it go onto the ac
page, or show up in preview...dirty rats. Saved your pic then put it up here. and that worked, Guess you better start saving them in your own computor and post from there for this forum.

DJ, are you opening your pictures in microsoft office picture manager? where you can resize or crop??? I can't post from there but can suck them from a file or even from the desk top and put up onto AC...

Hey JC,,I use Microsoft "PAINT" to resize and "save as" a JPEG. I 've been doin it this way forever and really think something has changed on the site cause I tried Bing, firefox and IE and STILL no dice,,,,

Joe, you arent the onliest one haven troubles... Cheryl
came home and got on the computer this evening and opened up e-mails
and and then started going through them, and came to one email and
didn't even open it but was going to delete it and locked the puter
up... I got it down in the deleted section but it does it's locking up
there too. Hope to find a way to kill thet some-uff-a-beetch. and be
even more fun to kill the perp that created all thet sheit that them
crazy arses put out to make life miserable for others... and costly too.

Yeah,,JC,,it does get me so friggin "enraged" (I like thet word, cause them dems use it so much  ) them idiots do not realize they are putting their own lives in danger if they are ever fount out,,,!!! A man's computer is his own private property and they ain't got NO BUSINESS messin with it,,, it's ironic, my computer was goin thru yet another "update" last nite and had froze up at 80% when I started it up at 2:25 am,,,there was a note,,,DO NOT SHUTDOWN YOUR PC,,,SOOooo me being the kind of person I am and with all the BS I've had to go thru on them friggin updates,,,,,I promply shut it down and restarted, I thought,,Chit Fire,,,it doin it again,,,,but after the 3rd restart,,it finally took off and finished the update and here I am,,,,,, What type of firewall do you have,,?? I have had real good luck with Microsoft's "Windows Defender" ,,cause,,,,cause,,it is FREE and the MS techs have told me MS is putting all their money behind Windows Defender and rates it way better than any other Anti- Virus on the market,,,,,believe it or else,,,,
