 Topic: My neighbor is a nut

I came home from work and noticed a small American flag by my mailbox and noticed my next door neighbor had several by her box so I assumed it was from her. I sent her a text thanking her for the flag, ( have a 20 foot flagpole in the front yard) as I can always use more. She said that she tried to give one to the neighbor across the road (she is maybe 20) but she refused the offer and said she was against nationalism and patriotic displays and thought that the whole world would benefit if we stopped waving the flag in their face. My neighbor asked her if she was a communist or something. I just had to shake my head at the whole thing. One thing is for sure I can just about guarantee that no one in her family served in the armed service or they would have her straightened out on the subject. I may need to buy several full size flags and line the road next year.

She works all the time and while I'm out spraying weed killer on the stuff coming up in the drive I usually walk over and spray the weeds coming up in her drive. I may stop doing it as I may be imposing my will on her weeds and the weeds might not like it.

The ship has sailed,getting her in face will only prove what libs,progressives,communists or what ever label you want on the folks that have been teaching her for 13 to 20 years.
Was at a little gathering of deplorable misfits today. Was reminded we need to find ways to get learning back into education. We are proving what Nikita Khrushchev told us in 1960 they would destroy us from within. Beginning the 3th generation of teachers that are are a product of left leaning education system.
Sometimes if there is a spark of common sense in these under educated people,you might be able show them a truth and start them on a quest for knowledge. If they will admit how little they really know.

Maybe you hang a speaker outside your window and play American patriotic music. Star spangle banner,Yankee doodle dandy,glory glory etc.etc. Then every 5 songs or so the Pledge of allegiance. Kinda like that propaganda thing to irritate the other side and play it load enough so she can hear it all the time during the day.

I got one of them liberal neighbors, He has been mad at me since Trump got elected. Guess he didn't like the fact I had told him that Trump was going to win despite what the liberal news was telling him. LOL Then he started telling others I am a bad neighbor.  I quit trying to be a friend. Seen him the other day, and asked him if life is treating him good... mumbles it's good and turns around and walks away. That's a typical liberal for you.

I may just let her be for now. I do like lining the road with flags but would worry about them walking off by themselves. I do have a split rail fence about 6 feet from the road so I might mount them to the fence so you just couldn't take off with them. She has been airing up one of her rear tires every morning for three weeks when I head to work. She has a boyfriend that visits every weekend so I don't know why he can't put the spare on for her so it can be dropped off to be patched while she is at work. If he can't do it for her, I'm not volunteering to do it. I think that boat has left the dock.
