Bearing and seals are available thru agco.
Larger casting pieces n/a. What do you need? |

Needing Crown wheel and pinion all bearings and gears.I'm thinking a complete Assembly would be the best option

In North America (Including Canada), the front drivetrain is really hard to find. And this is where most of the tractors were sold. Some had front end loaders and that really chewed up the front drive quick.
Some have been converted to two wheel drive. Many models of two wheel drive axel (7000 + 8000 series) will bolt up very easy. Do you have many used Allis tractors there at the wreckers? |

We have a fwa 8050 and our mechanic said "Someday you will have a 2 wheel drive tractor.
It is inevitable, someday. Leon B MO

Uncle always said "Fill the back of the shovel and the front will take care of itself".

I thought I remembered reading on here that somebody or some company was trying to figure out how to put a fwa axle from a case ih magnum on an 8000 series. Anybody else recall this?
To the OP, I would try heitman tractor salvage in durand Wisconsin or Northside salvage in redbud Illinois. Edited by Dkienzle - 29 Apr 2018 at 8:10pm |

I hate reading this post. I have a super nice 8070 FWA. I have a cousin who works in engineering for a big forge outfit. I could see if they could re manufacture parts at a reasonable cost

I did some checking with my cousin. They make larger parts than what we’re dealing with but he has contacts that can remanufacture any part. I assume ring gear and pinion shafts are most common along with planetary gear sets. He couldn’t give me any idea on price unless he had the parts that need to be reproduced. Bottom line is anything can be fixed. Let me know if I can help get something moving. I may need parts in the future too.

I had a complete rebuild on one of my 8070s front ends. It was about 14 grand by the time it was done. As long as the cast housings are good, anything can be made or bought if you find the right place. The dealer got a reproduction ring gear and pinion from Heightman.
Do take note that this tractor has over 10,000 hours on it, going make it last another 10,000. |

That’s a lot but it’s worth it. You can’t buy a newer tractor for that kind of money and you know what you have

Was working last week with an 8070 FWA with loader that turned 13000 hrs when I was running it. Did not have loader since new though. It is now a pet tractor since its main duty was in a feedlot and they got a pay loader for that now. Owner is Allis fan so this tractor is now in well deserved semi retirement.
