We have been working on our XT 190 Propane the last couple of days and we noticed the starter was not engaging all the time. I took the starter off today (in a position that it wasn't engaging) and the teeth on it are worn down pretty bad and the flywheel ring gear teeth are worn some, but not too bad. Would you split it and replace the flywheel gear? Split it and rotate the gear some? Or leave the flywheel gear alone?
Thanks |
