I believe Simplicity did.  You might want to check on www.simpletractors.com. ; Many knowledgeable folks on the forum that would be able to get the answer for you, and may be interested in the unit.

Allis never built a Wards.  Allis did own Simplicity while they built the Squire 10 and later, the Twin Twenty.  Gilson built the Wards garden tractors after '66.

also' by the book i have for it said it's 11HP' montgomery-ward  model# TMO-33907A it's around a 40'' cut deck. clean tractor' would like to sell it.

Does it look about like this?  The model # you gave isn't a Simplicity model, and that sequencing began in the 70's, after Simplicity and Wards had parted ways.
