New to Forum, may be asked before, but does a cab from a 190 fit on a DT -17 series 1V .

I would say no. A 190 is somewhat different than a D17. For starters, the sheet metal on the dash/hood isn't the same. Also, the 190 had more of a flat floor because it sat up above the transmission and rear end. The "platform" on a D17 was made down around the transmission. Could you get it to work with enough re-engineering, sure. Would it be anywhere close to easy? No. You'd basically have to redesign and rebuild the whole operator's station on the d17.
