You can fit more on when you load tractors sideways....the Iowa DOT man that gave us a speeding ticket said he was impressed. We celebrated that Iowa welcoming packet with a excellent ribeye in Traer, Iowa on the way home.

Now, that's a packed trailer! The mounted corn picker setup looks especially nice IMO

Good morning Dale - in a former life, I had car dealers license. I'll never fool with used cars and those type folks ever again. Life is short enough! |

What Engine is in Stubby. My guess is a 2cyl Wisconsin. Why? Shed was too short for a full size WC. Instead of lengthening the shed they shortened the tractor, It was too long to fit crossways on the trailer. Didn't have a G to fit the hole.

Hi Jim - now that is a name that sticks - Stubby! I bought it at auction - its a WC where the former owner removed a length of frame and replaced the engine with a little Wisconsin air cooled. It sure is fun to play with. It is a neat little thing! |

Hi Ken - I don't know the answer to the question of why? But all your answers make good sense! I have the perfect spot in my little collection to keep it. Right next to a 6140 tractor, as they are about the same size. |

Hi matador - we unloaded the picker today, ran it, and the whole thing seems to work. I don't have any wide row corn, but I may go try it one row per side at a time! |

Hi Jay - I wish we had been going slower. Its hard to wiggle out of a ticket for going 70 in a 55 mph zone! |

I just knew it had to be a Ram pulling a load that big in order to get a speeding ticket! Nice rig and especially the AC stuff. Love that picker. A lot of nice AC pieces. I gotta ask, how long does it take to load/unload?

Hi Robbie - we were pleased with the picker, everything seems to work on it. We were there two hours getting loaded, but a lot of that time was spent yacking.....it takes time to speak the orange language. |

I know what you mean, seams like I can talk about AC for hours. Every time I do a restore on one and get asked about it I have to go into detail. If you dont want to know details, dont ask. LOL !
