Find the model number of the alternator. Do you want an internally or externally regulated alternator?

I put a Delco replacement from shoup on my 7060, it comes with correct pulley and a hookup for the tach. It was like $175.

Look here: http://www.fastline.com/electrical/part-detail/electrical-oem-a130552z-a187686-a47444-107603c91-131328c91-146472c91-146473c91-739646c91-104024a1r/da2bf4b7-71c7-44d1-bd11-fc5e7481abe0.aspx

They want $99 for a rebuilt one. You get $50 back when you send in your core. Shipping will cost  little, though.

Perhaps I lookes at the wrong one. For less than half that you can get a 90 AMP Balmar Marine Grade with a Smart external regulator. Three stage smart regulators are nice when you're running AGM batteries.

I use a delco CS130 in place of the niehoff.  Tach comes out right on the money plus it is a 105 amp unit and cheap.  Here is a link to the previous post.
