I've never done it, but supposedly there is a way to break them down into 3 pieces very easily for hauling. Years ago, someone posted about that, and said that it was very easy to do, and had a picture of it. Darrel

The feed table comes off pretty easily.  Back the bale chamber section on a trailer.
Take the tongue and PTO off, and lay it on trailer lengthwise.
Take feeder table and stand up next to bale chamber.  Strap everything down and you can probably get everything on a bumper pull 16 ft. x 7-1/2 ft. trailer.
Good Luck.  I once upon a time dragged a white top 70 miles or so, but not 300.

That is a useful picture.  Thanks to CTucker for resurrecting it.  Recently I have had some requests for the original slide show.  Try this link.

Dave, this should be saved in the Knowledge forum. Pretty good step by step with good pictures.

If you have a low slung car trailer, you can crib up one wheel, and lash it down real good, it will fit through the GW bridge toll gates, if you get them to hinge in the safety shields for the toll takers...WinkWink

Tow it home, I towed a Roto Baler to my home from Raleigh NC nearly 200 miles and it had the Aux engine on it.One flat was all the trouble I had, just get a hitch to center it behind your truck.

Gary has the right idea. Lift it up with two loaders or a crane and set it down on a trailer and take the wheels off. Also the stub axles will easily come out with just one bolt, removing the right one will allow it to be under 8'.
I have made a set of small wheels that clamp under the twine box to allow it to be loaded on a deckover trailer with ramps, no dis-assembly required.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Just throwing this out there.  I see you are in the UK.  Some of the Roto balers in the UK had special axle arrangements to make them narrower for transport.  You might want to see if this baler is a narrow one.  Might help in your transporting.
