I am presently pulling a wc with a gleaner "e" and want to convert it to run on alchohol. Has anyone out there already done this and what was the gain and approximately what jet size would be used in a stock carburetor?

The big issue with alchohol fuel is that it is hard to get set right because the temperature changing outside effects it so much.

If carb has a adjustable jet then richen it way up to fouling plugs on gas . Thats a good starting point for alcohol. if it dont take it out and leave it out for a starting point read the plugs and then deteremine how much you need to increase the jets hole . usually its 1.7 times but sometimes its closer to 2.0 times
