I have a chance to buy a new set of Firestone 26x12x12 23 degree tires for a stock altered 716 6 speed that I am building. I was going to get a set of puller tires for it, but do you think if these were sharpened, that they'd work? We have predominately loose tracks. I was concerned that they'd dig a bit too much. Thanks

23ยบ firestones are one of the best tires out there.  Try them first, before grinding anything away, is my advice...  Also try them at various pressures, to match track conditions...Thumbs Up

We put a lot of those on for the guys and gals pulling in past years. I don't remember any of them being cut, sharpened, or ground down.

Used them for years back then there weren't all these different tires to chose .
I'ld chose a set of stones over anything out there, any Idea how old they are?
The older harder a tire is .

They are brand new, apparently. Guy doesn't want them. He is going to use puller tires.
