 Topic: 2 bottom rollover plow

I am using a 2 bottom rollover plow this year for the first time. Is there a way that you can get the plow to roll from the tractor seat. Never have been around one before. I have been getting off the tractor at the end of the row and manually rolling it over.

Dave, What are you working it on. WD, D-series, or later While I never sold one I do remember there were levers you could reach from the seat. The trick was to do it as you lifted the plow at the end of the furrow. You wanted to catch it so the momentum would flip it.

Yes, it is a spring loaded setup if it is like a 50 or 60 series plow.
There is a bracket that goes on the back of the tractor and when you lift the plow up it tightens the springs so when you pull the lever the springs flip the plow over. Give me a call and I will try to explain it better. 360 201 5710

This is a main frame for a 70 series and it has part of the Auto-Spinner on it. There's a bracket that mounts on the tractor PTO shield for the point to swipe by and that trips things. On the ones I've used behind a CA or WD45 you're right there, just remember to wear GLOVES, those shares can get sharp! This is FREE to the one that comes to get it.

mine has that auto spinner on it and it worked good on the d17 but i think that i am missing somthing on the tractor side to make it work on my wd45. some one have a picture of that ?

I am using it on a D-14. Can not reach the release lever from the seat. No springs on mine but it does roll real easy by hand from the ground.

Dave you have lot's of us good friends on here to help you out on stuff just like this. Here's a way to make that plow roll over, start by welding a flywheel with the ring gear still on it to the spinner frame of the plow and cut some used number 9 wire longer than you will need, hang a starter on the main frame and tie the starter to the main frame tight so it will not come off and get plowed under, then cut a longer then you need piece of cord off your coffee pot from the batt to the starter, then when you make it to the end of the field just pock the wire on top of the batt and a round and a round will go.
I will not charge you for all this good INFO.

I also have a roll over plow on my D14. I also have to get off to roll it over. I used to use it on my CA and could roll it from the seat. That was much easier, but the D14 handles it much better. Bob
