I was bush hogging today and heard a couple of "snaps" from transmission area. I shut down PTO and heard a whirling noise. Knew I had a problem and headed for the shed in 2nd gear at a slow speed. Heard the whirling again and pushed in the foot clutch and the noise stopped. Waited for bit shifted to 3rd low and stared moving. Everything was fine until the same sound. Made it to the shed, but wonder what the problem is. I'm thinking clutch?? The PTO will still engage but I didn't run it.
