Need help in restoring grand pop's 6G excavator.
Batteries were removed and wiring to starter is in question,
Can anybody assist with pics of what it looks like?
Is it a positive ground?

Should be Positive Ground, should have either a linkage to the starter engagement solenoid or have a push button to engage it but will not matter if connect the batteries correctly.  Also look to see if starter or generator are 24v, many of these machines were not 12v.  Will have to wire batteries in series to get 24V.
