Was wondering if anyone has a groundspeed chart that has the ground speed for a WD45 with 16.9x26 tires and stock rpms and 10% and 20% over rpms

No one can give you an EXACT speed. Why?? because there are too many differences in tire brand actual diameters.....Goodyears are usually smaller diameter than a Firestone and an Armstrong is oftentimes the biggest. Then, there's the matter of a worn out tire versus a new tire. There's always an issue with wheel slippage. The 16.9 x 26 should be very close in diameter to a 14.9 x 28 which is a WD-45 tire size. That would make low gear 2.5 MPH@1400 RPM.....3.1 MPH @ 1700 RPM.........3.3 MPH @ 1870 RPM.........3.6 MPH @ 2040 RPM.

I run them on mine one season, works perfect for a 3.5 or even 3.5 mph class. I was running 2050 rpms's I would blow the horn but by the time I got to the barrier just enough slippage occoured to make for no ajustment.

i will add one thing that you may or may not know already, remember these speeds are at load. my first pull this season had a 3.5 mph limit. i was thinking 2.5 mph in first i will be all good, and for that pull i was, then i go to my second pull and it has a 2.5 mph speed limit, perfect right? wrong, see in 3500 pound class in the beginning there is not enough weight to pull the rpms down to loaded rpm, so instead of running 1400 rpm i was running closer to 1800 rpm, and since we dont have the first 100 foot rule i got horned, luckily you get more than one horn in our association or i would have been disqualified, just something to think about

We can blow the horn all the way to the barrier. Just cant after you pass it. Some are at half track some 100 foot.

Load Radius X RPM divided by 14055.
16.9-28 25.6 Std rpm 1720 3.1 mph 10% 1892 3.4 mph 20% 2064 3.8 mph 30% 2236 4.1 mph

I run firestone field and roads now have had issues sometimes with the tractor not wanting to hook up. Since most places i pull are either low gear only or 3.5 mph so im looking for a tire size that would give me 3.5 mph in 1st gear at around 10% over factory rpms

my book didn't show 16.9-26. so 14.9-28 is 3.0, 3.3, 3.6, 3.9, so my guess is in between these.
