Anyone ever pull one of these? With a 4.5bore 5stroke you should be able to make a large cu in engine. Whats one of these weigh?

My uc weighs 5500 with the 318 and 18,4-28 on the rear

I have a little info regarding building a UC puller.  Know of one that was bored to 4.625 and used MM G1000 pistons to bump the compression. 336 cubes with a cam grind, guy said it wasnt a bad puller but i cant see it doing real well with small factory rubber. May be possible to go larger bore im not sure yet.  I have been mulling over pulling my UC for a while.
 
compression height on gas UM pistons is over 2 inches, that leaves a lot of room to work with when changing to an automotive piston and stroked crank.  also big block chevy valves can be used in the head and are slightly larger.  my problem is figuring out how far the crank can go without block mods and or breaking crank and which rod to use.  i have not found UM engine deck height listed anywhere, it makes desktop engine building tough Big smile

CAL  -  My brother is currently doing a engine rebuild on a UC Thompson(has 36" rubber).  Is using the MM pistons with new Darton sleeves.  I do not know the deck height, but he did cc the head and the compression ratio is now about 7.5:1.  Used the stock rods and only had to rebore for the wrist pins.  He is not using it for pulling, just for show and occasional plowing.
