Got some bush hogging done today. Same old bush hog my grandpa ran for almost 30
years. Went and asked the guy if he still had it, said yup even has a new shaft on it now. She's taken quite a beating over the past 30 years and is a little un balanced but still cuts like she always has. ![]() ![]() one of the many holes the blades have knocked into the deck. Offerd to get the welder out and patch it but he said they'ed just do it again. ![]() |

it's a compression kit with Sleeves, rings and pistons, and head ground to D17 specs. have 2 6 volt batteries to start it. one isnt enough.

I believe the crank and rods may be out of a 17 as well.

Better not be anybody standing around it in the first place! I hollered at mom a year or two ago when she was standing behind me and I didn't realize it until I turned my head. all it takes is one rock or fence post and dead... hit a saw blade last fall, stuck it in the side of the barn

Frame is narrower on a D15. besides why would you want to?

Thats not something normally done...that would involve custom work if it would work at all. Plus you would be losing power. |

rods will interchange....both are precision brg. 17 crank has same stroke but larger mains
