Typical, get something and don't really know what it's really for...
AC D19, 180, & 190 EngineThis is not a 180 or 190 engine, ...and I look at it wondering if its a 230 or a 262 and think its a 230 because of the small aircleaner.... So it isn't even a D19 engine. good canadate for WD cotton picker tractor....LOL

I also vote for it being a 230 engine from a Gleaner A. Has ths short housing to the drive pulley. I could tell if I had a close up of the oil pan.

Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

My guess is an Allis/Buda 6B262 out of a Gleaner C/C2 due to the grey color, full flow oil filter, and offset carburetor. It would be the same engine as a D19 gas or LP. The 230 would most likely be orange, have a bypass oil filter, and carb in the center of the manifold.
Also the water pump is on the block like a 262 and not the head like a 230. Edited by Travis(NE) - 24 Mar 2012 at 2:41am |

i'll say 230 gas. My 230 gas is gray, has full flow filter, offset carb and water pump on block. 1966 manufacture.
