I am not aware of a spacer. Should be a thrust plate on the inside which has 2 tangs on it....those tangs go into 2 holes, then your high range drive hub, the the low range drive hub, and then the snap ring

Don, I wonder if he's talking about that thick one thats split and has an internal snap ring keeping it in?

I just looked at the parts breakdown on AGCO online and I still dont see any type of spacer......
With the clutch assembled you slide it on the input shaft of the trans and put the external snap ring on to hold it on.
Then the thrust washer with the 2 tangs
Then the high range drive hub]
Then the low range drive hub
Then the large internal snap ring to hold the drive hubs in
The low range drive hub is wider than the high range one.........

I just had a D17IV power director apart and it is like Brian said...... at least it is if the OP is talking about the split spacer ring, it goes between the front clutch hub and the snap ring. I used to work at an AC dealer years ago and I remember this spacer and where it goes from then also. The D17 parts break down does not show it drawn correctly. I think this spacer must be reference #10, part number 70232093 (on both the D17 and D17IV parts lookup) and they show it as a spacer by the preload plate which is incorrect. Bottom line, if you are talking about the split spacer about a 1/4" wide.....it goes between the front clutch hub and the snap ring.
