Is it safe to mount a 8.3-24 tire on an 8" rim as opposed to a 7" rim.  I'm in need of one good rim and it appears 8" rims are easier to come by.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't know what it would hurt. It may not be the best set-up for the full time farmer or tractor pulling, but not too many B's still make a living on the farm.
