	Our local tractor club, "Iron Sharpens Iron", will be having a dinner meeting this Saturday nite at 6:00pm.The meeting will be at the Lawson, Mo. Baptist church south of town on 69 hiway. I will be doing a talk on the proper procedure of cleaning and lining a fuel tank. I will also hit a few high points on the paint end of restorations also. All welcome, come if you can. 	Too far to come hear the talk on fuel tank restoration. Would like to here it from someone who has lined one sucessfully. Maybe you can post some doos and don'ts from your experience here. I have a paint question for you Dave. Gary has primed everything but the sheet metal on his B with Valspar spray can red primer. The sheet metal will be sandblasted primed with PPG epoxy, body work done and then finished with The PPG AE system. Any problems you foresee comming with PPG AE over the red Alkyd primer or anything already painted with Alkyd Enamel. My CA is PPG AE over Alkyd enamel on everything but the sheetmetal and no problems yet. Conventional wisdom says this shouldn't work. Ken

	The only problem I can see would be top coating too soon since the two components may not be compatible. If it has enough time for all of the solvents to evacuate, it may be alright. I would be afraid to try it, epoxy and top coat is too expensive to play with, not to mention the mess trying to correct a problem.

	The bodyman that I have do all of my painting whether on my cars or tractors, always say's "never mix anything" meaning mfr's paints. Always stay with what the mfr. tells you to use, and you'll never have a problem providing you apply it correctly. Especially as time progresses after the paint job was done.... Steve@B&B
