I got the tractor last summer from my grandmother and I decided to restore it as a 4-H project. This tractor was my grandfather's and my grandmother decided to pass it down to me. When I got it the motor was stuck so it took some engine work. The engine is from a 60 pulltype combine which I think is pretty cool. Dad and I tightened up the steering using helpful information we got from you guys on the forum and also got the sheetmetal looking great. We are looking forward to restoring the tractor this spring.

Neat looking wheel weights. If it still is close to looking as good as it does in the picture the restoration should go well.

I wish it looked as good now as it did then. Forty years can do alot to a tractor especially since the last time it ran was 1989 before I got it running this past summer.

Take your time.  Do a good job.  It is your GRANDFATHER's Tractor.  They are so special.
Let us see pictures as you progress.
Good Luck!

Thanks. I have some pictures of what the tractor looks like now. I think they are to big though to fit on the screen. Maybe Im just doing something wrong.
