I purchased new seals from general gear and am struggling to insert them with the rubber gasket staying in place.  Any suggestions?

I had to contrive a contraption using a board and block of wood held up with a ratchet strap when I did the seals on my Son-in-law's HD5G several years ago. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures but with some ingenuity it isn't too hard to do.

Gasket gets glued in, can’t remember the particular glue. Will look over the weekend for what I used. Be sure to tighten the sprocket nut super tight, I think it was 1600 ft lbs.
HD5B, HD5G, (2) FARMALL A's, CUB. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, IGNORE THE LAUGHTER. FLANNEL IS ALWAYS IN STYLE.
