Reported just outside KC KS as to a large outbreak and most hospitalized. TB comes from a common Mycobacterium that is found everywhere, same family different strain of bacteria causes leprosy and been around forever. The bacteria is common is soils and among all animal families where tends to be non invasive unless is Leprae or Tuberculin varieties. Fully treatable these days just a languishing time frame of meds.

gee you allow MILLIONS humans in with NO shots, and 'magically' TB and other diseases appear ?? it's friggin harder to get PETS through 'security' !!! You can get a TB shot, 100% works ( well maybe 99.44% ?). be nice to see the stats though antivaxxers/imports/ vaxxed ??

It is my understanding that TB vaccines are not commonly used in the US unless there is a reason or high-risk situation. Local medical people are not sure of the reason for the spike in cases. No alarm here yet and it's still being studied. Stay tuned.

Usually when you see tb outbreak, its in an environment overcrowded and immunocompromised population. Think prison or migrant camp. This outbreak seems to be different.

Why ? Simple answer , someone ,the ATC in charge or 'above' ALLOWS air traffic to be too close . NOT following the 'spacing' regulations. Really. NOBODY should be less AT or BELOW as plane on 'final approach'. Also I'm ONLY allowed to be under 500' over 'population IF taking off or landing'. Obvious the chopper was 'en route'.....NOT at airfield. That chopper could have HOVERED, until plane had landed. The landing plane has TOP priority. What I don't understand is why there weren't a LOT of alarms going off in the plane, chopper and the tower !!

ATC noted they were attempting to raise the Chopper, NO Responses, Mil Channels are not supposed to be utilized in high traffic zones of Air traffic per the MoNG Member here I know. "Routine Training mission", could have inadvertently set to a Mil Channel for Flight and failed the protocols for ATC was his suspicion.
