BTO,s are hitting the fields as they have no choice. So many acres they have to start early or they will never finish. Most guys are waiting for it to dry in the field. Not giving you anything for it so can't afford to dry it .

Corn is still lush green here. Early maturity beans are starting to turn. Mine are still green since I was a bit late.   A month or more to go around here.

I would cry a river of joyful tears to be able to combine corn that dry in my area. Especially this time of year! Holy cow. With a warm very dry October you can be blessed with under 20% in November. Man….

Seen some silage chipped around here but that's it. A few beans getting close, mine are not. Was going to get the combine out Saturday but think I'll wait another week. No big list of repairs this year, just the usual. Supposed to be in the mid 80's for quite awhile yet, just as soon it was cooler when harvesting.

I'm probably 3-4 weeks out here. Don't have that many acres to do, should be an enjoyable fall. Everything is looking good, at least so far. Always a great feeling once that grain is across the creek, up the hills, and safely in town.

I take it most beans are double cropped after wheat? Er??? Just curious, beans come out before corn here as we wait forever for some dry down in corn.
