Hello all just purchased a really nice hd11 1955 from what I can decipher. It runs great pushes great all seems well, except front idler bearing is shot. Is there anyone on here that has one they’re willing to part with or point we in the correct direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could just change the bearings and maybe the seals

Joey....So I concur with Hector's post....it might be able to be rebuilt...that being said...it sounds like there might be a lot more damage done. If you don't have the tools or patience to rebuild it ...there should be complete assemblies out there still. We have several complete idler assemblies from donor tractors we have dismantled for parts for our collection tractors over the years.....I've also come to grips with the fact that some of these parts we might not need. So that being said....you might be able to find something closer...we're in California....don't know what the freight might be. But knowing the tractor...I would try to find a complete assembly to plug in and get back to the fun stuff...LOL!
