Orangeman had one for a d17 series 4 a while back. Now that I think about it the 170 pump is probally different because 170s have hydrostatic power steering

I had a friend whose father needed the same thing: middle plate for the pump on a 170 (side mount pump). He brought the old one (cracked in half) to a machine shop with a indicator on their CNC mill, who matched the old one and made a new one. I think he told them to make the bore 1 or 2 thou undersized to account for wear over the years, and the outside was about 1/4" larger all-around to give it some more strength. I had my doubts about it working because tolerance is so critical on that type of pump, but it worked beautifully.

I don't know for sure but would imagine AGCO would still have the broken plate in their parts system. Find someone who can go thru your pump and replace it and know the pump is good versus finding just a "used" pump.
