The brakes on my 160 have this bolt and lock nut. What is it for? I never touched it, yet. ![]() |

A manual is worth a lot of help, but...it looks as though it could be the adjustment bolt for the brakes. Loosen the jamb nut, tighten it clockwise, until it gets snug, then slightly back it off, so it's not real tight and jamb the nut back down. Like I said...a manual would be nice to have...does it have a grinding type noise when you apply the brakes? If so, you'll more than likely need them relined, if not you'll be good to go for a while yet...Rick
