i understand tractors being called tractors, i understand semi trucks being called tractors, i DON'T understand how chicken pens/shelters are called chicken tractors!

before I read the previous post I was thinking about how they 'the chicken tractor' is used to pull the chickens around the yard to find new grass, etc.  ... ... so much for knowing.

I suppose Chicken Tractor sounds much more Sophisticated and Gucci than Movable Pen for Chickens. Wink

Got no idea Joe. First time I heard that term was a couple of years ago. We call them coops or pens around here. Probably a term some old times used to mess with the yuppies he sold 2 or 3 old wore out hens to.
